KSOL
About

Music picked by people, not algorithms.

KSOL is a handful of live radio stations, each one a mood you can step into. There's no library to dig through and no algorithm quietly rebuilding itself around your taste. You pick the energy you want — a slow sunset, a locked-jaw techno night, jazzy beats to float on — press play, and the music takes it from there.

Every station is curated by people: real ears choosing real records, the way a good radio station always has. What you hear is what everyone else tuned in is hearing, right now — shared, live, and a little bit unrepeatable.

The streams

8 stations, each with its own weather.

How it works

Each station streams around the clock. When a track moves you, hit the flame — it's a vote. Flames push songs up the Top Charts, a live ranking of what listeners are loving across every station. Sign in and your flames are saved too, so the songs that hit hardest are waiting for you on any device.

Why it exists

KSOL is independent and non-commercial — no labels, no network, no ads. Just music chosen by humans for people who'd rather feel their way through a night than scroll it.

KSOL started out of missing something: radio, the real kind, where someone with taste is picking the records and you trust them enough to just let it play — no skipping, no deciding, no feed quietly learning you. Somewhere along the way that mostly disappeared, so KSOL is an attempt to bring a little of it back.

It's small and independent on purpose: a few stations, each one built and looked after with care, streaming the same music to everyone tuned in — made for anyone who wants to press play and stop choosing for a while.
